We are Anglican, and our diocese is the Anglican Diocese of Canada within the province of the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). The ACNA is a member of the Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (GAFCON).

“Anglicanism is a worldwide body of Christians responding to God’s revelation through Jesus Christ. Anglicanism brings together the authority of the Bible, the historic faith, and the beauty of structured prayer. It is rooted in tradition, yet contemporary in practice. It is united in substance, yet diverse in expression. We are a global family living out our faith in local communities.” -Anglican Church of North America.

We are a church grounded in the apostolic tradition, worshiping the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and participating in the divine life given to us through Christ. We are committed to living out the fullness of the faith entrusted to the saints, rooted in the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

More details about our core beliefs can be found here.

We meet in a small chapel located in the Christian Education Building of the First Baptist Church in the heart of downtown Calgary.

Look for our welcome sign on 4th Street just north of 14th Avenue SW.   Directions and maps can be found here.

We understand that visiting a new church can be intimidating! Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome.

Our Sunday services are rooted in the liturgies of the Anglican tradition guided by the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, while recognizing the presence of the Spirit in contemporary worship.

  • Services are liturgical in format which means that we follow an ordered structure of worship and prayer.

  • Our music team leads us through the service using contemporary worship songs, classic hymns, sung liturgy, and responsorial Psalms.

  • The high point of our service is the Eucharist, where baptized believers partake in consuming the body and blood of Christ.

  • Children & youth participate by joining Children's Chapel, staying in service, or using the nursery. More details about our children's programs can be found here.

  • Coffee & tea (and sometimes treats!) are served before after service.

The short answer is yes. From the earliest days of the Church, baptism and Eucharist were always joined. Through baptism we are joined to His Body, and the Eucharist is a meal for those who have been baptized into Christ.

That said, everyone is welcome to come forward! If you are not yet baptized, simply cross your arms over your chest and receive a blessing instead. When you're ready, we would be honored to walk with you toward baptism.

Sometimes you may find the door locked. Please ring the doorbell and our greeters will happily welcome you.
